Why We Created Essex Stays - Our Story

Essex Stays started with a simple idea.

We saw how hard it was to find one beautiful place where everyone could stay together.

Birthdays meant split hotels.

Weddings meant taxis, logistics, and people missing moments. Family celebrations felt rushed and disconnected.

We wanted something different.

Somewhere people could arrive, settle in, and actually spend time together.

So we created Essex Stays at The Kings Head - a space designed for connection, celebration and ease. A place where up to 24 guests can stay under one roof, with room to relax, laugh, get ready together, and make memories that last.

From the beginning, our focus has never just been on accommodation. It’s always been about the experience.

As a family-run business, we know how important these moments are. Milestone birthdays. Wedding mornings. Girls’ weekends. Family reunions. Time together matters.

But at the heart of it, nothing has changed.
